Jarrett L. was born about 1805 in Georgia to Nancy Lincecum and William Green Berry. Jarrett married twice. First to Susannah T. Smith, 19 May 1827 in Bibb County, Alabama. She was a niece to the two Tabor sisters who married Berry brothers. Nancy Tabor married Simeon Berry, and Malinda Tabor married Uriah Berry. Simeon and Uriah were brothers of Jarrett, and Susannah's mother was Mary Tabor.
Jarrett and Susannah had at least eight children: Reason, Mary, Burton Litton, Thomas, Columbus, Serena, Nancy, and James Madison. Susannah Smith Berry possibly died in 1853 in Mississippi.
Jarrett's second marriage was to Almeda Tippah, 18 July 1854 in Pontotoc County, Mississippi. I do not know of any children born to this union.
Jarrett possibly died about 1865 in Arkansas.
