Individual Report for Matilda Berry, Daughter of Nancy Lincecum

Individual Report - MBerryMatilda Berry was born between 1798 and 1807 in either Mississippi or Georgia.  She was one of at least eight children born to William Green Berry and Nancy Lincecum.  Matilda died 12 December 1871 in Pickens County, Alabama.

DIED.
Miss MATILDA BERRY departed this life at the residence of her niece, Mrs. S. M. Pannell, in Pickens county, Ala., on the 12th of December, 1871, aged 73 years 7 months and 22 days.  Miss Berry was born in Natchez, Miss., April 20th, 1798.  In the Fall of 1828 she professed religion and joined the Baptist church, of which she remained a consistent and pious member to the day of her death.  Two older sisters, and many relatives survive her.
