William Emmette Vinson was born 3 April 1872 in Georgia to Benjamin Franklin Vinson and Jane Elizabeth Cherry (1842-1900). William married about 1902 Frances Isabella "Fannie Belle" Vinson, daughter of Thomas Oscar Vinson (1848-1894) and Mary Catherine Robertson (1848-1919). Frances was born 19 November 1873 in Crawford County, Georgia. She died 28 February 1963.
William and Fannie had four children: Frank W., William Emmette, Jr. (1905-1987), Thomas Oscar (1908-1994), and Edward Robertson (1916-1992).
William and his family can be found living in Bibb County, Georgia during the year of 1900. They were found in Houston County, Georgia during the years of 1910, 1915, 1920, and 1930. In 1915, they were living in the town of Byron.
William's occupation was farming.
William Emmette Vinson died 10 February 1961. He and his wife Fannie Belle Vinson were both buried in Liberty United Methodist Church Cemetery in Bibb County, Georgia.
