William Emmette Vinson, Jr.

William Emmette Vinson, Jr. was born 16 December 1905 in Georgia to William Emmette (1872-1961) and Frances Isabella Vinson (1873-1963). He married Winnie Lula Calhoun 21 December 1932. Lula was born 10 December 1910 and died 4 August 1993.

William and his family can be found living in Houston County, Georgia during the years of 1910, 1920, and 1930.

William was a graduate of Emory University. He farmed, raised cattle, and grew peaches. He owned and operated a recreation park, Vinson Valley.

William died 29 June 1987. He and his wife were buried in Liberty United Methodist Church Cemetery in Bibb County, Georgia.
